Alistair Overeem (36-13 (1nc)) may have not got his hand raised at UFC Fight Night 26, after his co-main event loss to Travis Browne (15-1-1), however he did top the payroll for the event by a substantial margin, taking home $285,714.29 for his appearance at the August 17th event, as reported by MMAWeekly. Browne meanwhile took home $48,000, half of which was a win bonus.

Other big earners on the debut card for Fox Sports 1 included Chael Sonnen (29-13-1), who took home $100k, which incidentally did not include a win bonus, and despite losing out to Sonnen, Mauricio Rua (21-8) also went home a richer man by earning himself $175,000.

Bantamweight contender Urijah Faber (29-6) was also on the receiving end of a healthy sum, with the Californian earning $120,000 including his win bonus.

Below are the full salaries, released by Massachusetts State Athletic Commission to MMAWeekly.

The figures that follow are based on the information that promoters are required by law to submit to the state athletic commissions, including a fighters base pay and win bonus. These figures do not include any bonuses or sponsorships that the fighter may have received as well as not including deductions for items such as tax, insurance and licenses, among other things.
