Following the recent report of Sergio Pettis (9-0), UFC officials moved quickly to confirm the signing and announce his first bout, with the younger brother of UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, now set to debut against Vaughan Lee (13-9-1, pictured) at UFC 167.

Pettis will be looking to extend his nine fight winning streak to ten when he takes on the grappler from Birmingham, England. Pettis’ last two bouts have not made it out of the first round, with the Milwaukee native defeating Dillard Pegg (5-2) and James Porter (5-2) respectively to capture the RFA Flyweight and NAFC Bantamweight titles.
Lee is currently 2-3 inside the octagon and knows that the upcoming bout with Pettis will be equally important for both of them. With the depth of the bantamweight division continuing to grow Lee will be desperate to add Pettis to his list of UFC wins, which include “Kid” Yamamoto (18-6 (1nc)) and Motonobu Tezuka (20-6-4), and move himself up the division rankings.
UFC 167 takes place on November 16th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. You can check out the updated card below along with a video of Sergio Pettis winning the NAFC Bantamweight title against James Porter in his most recent bout.
