Chael Sonnen (29-13-1, pictured) recently took the opportunity, via UFC Tonight, to respond to recent taunts from Wanderlei Silva (35-12-1 (1nc)).
At the Olympia Expo in Las Vegas, Wanderlei had chosen to verbally attack Sonnen, stating that the ‘American Gangster’ is “afraid of him” and that he’s “going to beat him up”.
Sonnen has now had his say on things, stating that “accosting a gangster can be hazardous” and that it was a “publicity stunt” while welcoming him to come on the UFC Tonight show to conduct an interview. You can check out Chael’s full response in the video below.
Chael Sonnen will take on Rashad Evans (20-3-1) at next month’s twentieth anniversary UFC 167 event, while Wanderlei Silva currently does not have a fight scheduled.
