The latest bout for UFC on Fox 10 has now been confirmed, with UFC officials announcing a welterweight bout between Adam Khaliev (6-0) and Pascal Krauss (11-2, pictured).
Khaliev, who hails from Russia, is currently undefeated in his professional career, standing at 6-0. Khaliev appears to be a well rounded fighter having finished two of his bouts by knockout and two by submission, with the other two ending by unanimous decision.
Despite his relatively short career thus far, Khaliev has already defeated several of the more experienced fighters on the Eastern European circuit, including Alexei Belyaev (13-7), Alexander Dolotenko (17-7) and Valdas Pocevicius (33-31-4). In Khaliev’s last outing he scored a unanimous decision victory over fellow up and comer Magomed Magomedkerimov (10-3) back in August, 2012.
Following a lengthy layoff, the Russian prospect is now set to take on Krauss in his first bout for eighteen months at UFC on Fox 10.
Pascal Krauss is currently 2-2 in his UFC career and the German native will be looking to rebound from a first round knockout loss to Hyun Gyu Lim (12-3-1) in his last outing at UFC 164. Krauss will now be hoping to add Khaliev to his list of victories in the UFC, a list which currently includes Mark Scanlon (9-2) and Mike Stumpf (11-4) .
UFC on Fox 10 takes place on January 25th at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. You can check out the updated card below.
