Alex Caceres vs Mitch Gagnon Pulled From UFC Fight Night 33

A bantamweight bout between  Alex Caceres (9-5 ,1nc, pictured) and Mitch Gagnon (10-2) has been pulled from UFC Fight Night 33 this weekend after UFC officials that Gagnon is facing visa issues for the event which is set to take place in Brisbane, Australia.

The bout will now be re-scheduled for a future event which is expected to be announced shortly. Due to the late notice of the change, the event is now expected to go ahead with the eleven remaining bouts, with a replacement fight looking unlikely.

This is the second bout to be scrapped from the card in recent weeks, after Brian Melancon’s (7-3) retirement shelved his scheduled fight with TUF Smashes winner Robert Whittaker (11-3)

UFC Fight Night 33 takes place on December 7th (December 6th in the US) at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Australia. You can check out the updated card below.
